This study examines the impact of a visiting St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog at Methadone Assisted Recovery Services in the Saskatoon Health Region, where clients in highest need for motivation related to their HIV and/or addiction status are introduced to the dog for the love and support it can offer. The experience is being empirically evaluated.
